As a writer, I need all important materials at hand on my desk. Whenever I sit down to work I always have a bag of Mojo (usually chipotle) on hand along with a bottle of soda or a tall glass of ice water. It's a ritual, and I try to never part from it.

I'm a Peace Corps English Education volunteer in Azerbaijan. People are always curious about what American food is like.   It's hard to describe, so I gave my fifth grade class some jerky that my mom had sent over and, as you can see, they loved it!   Now when we talk about food in my class, the all say, "We want jerky!"

Our love affair began one year ago at the local food co-op... And it was at this co-op a couple days ago that we spied a new product, Mojo Jerky... a wonderful surprise for two gluten-intolerant meat-eaters who belong to a vegetarian co-op. So today, as we finished our first delicious and chewy bag of flavorful organic Mojo Jerky, we realized that nothing could come between us...except the last crumbs of Mojo Jerky.
